A Bologna-based communications agency has created an archive of photographs, illustrations, and graphic projects to represent people’s diversity and detoxify information from prevalent sexism, racism, ableism, and homolesbotransphobia.

"An evening reserved for cis, trans, and non-binary women”: with Svelarsi (Unveiling), a show that brings nude or semi-nude bodies on stage, Silvia Gallerani invites us to deconstruct internalized patriarchal culture to reveal ourselves to ourselves and reclaim our identity as women.

The "Remarkable Women of Montenegro" project, carried out at the initiative of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and in cooperation with the Center for Women's Rights, aims to make women more present and visible in public space through the painting of murals and a series of additional actions.

Italian of Tunisian origin, she fights against cultural stereotypes, with a particular focus on gender-based discrimination. Co-founder of a film production company, author of many graphic novels and the “Hijab style” documentary for Al-Jazeera, she won the European Journalism Prize for best graphic journalist in 2019. Just turned 30, she has been named as one of the "most powerful women in 2021.

“The transition invites you to choose yourself, and to love yourself. But sometimes to choose ourselves we have to let go of something else, no matter how painful letting go is.
