In the MENA region, abortion laws are restrictive and limit the right of women to dispose of their bodies. However, this does not prevent women from having an abortion. But illegal and risky procedures put their lives in danger.
RAWSA published a video with a combination of testimonies on abortion situation in the MENA region. The aim is to raise awareness on this issue and defend safe abortion.
Moreover, six testimonies were published in RAWSA Facebook page on the abortion situation in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Algeria and Morocco.
